ZYGO is an Angolan logistics and transportation platform built for last-mile delivery. Founded in September 2025, it chose Ziett within its first year of operation. Businesses create a shipment, a ZYGO driver collects it, and both the sender and the end customer follow the delivery in real time. It serves SMEs, retailers, digital entrepreneurs and growing companies that depend on getting goods to people reliably, from express same-day deliveries in Luanda to batch distribution from a single pickup point.

In logistics, the product is not only the delivery. It is also everything people are told about the delivery. That is where Ziett comes in.

What they use Ziett forNotifications, transactional messages and service-related communication

The challenge: delivery is a communication problem

Anyone who has run deliveries through chat apps knows how it goes. Every shipment generates questions: where is my package, who is the driver, when will it arrive. Each question becomes a message, a call, or an interruption somewhere in the operation.

ZYGO was built to replace that confusion with a system where the customer is informed at every stage without having to ask. That promise only holds if communication is treated as a core part of the platform, not an afterthought. It has to be reliable, timely and automatic, and it has to keep working as volumes grow.

Why ZYGO chose Ziett

ZYGO sees Ziett as the tool that makes communication with its customers and users easier: notifications, transactional messages and communication tied to the use of its services. The goal, in their words, is simple: the right information, to the right people, at the right time, through the most suitable channels.

"The goal is to make sure the information reaches the right people, at the right time, through the most suitable channels." — Raimundo Tony — CTO, ZYGO

For a platform whose customers expect to know what is happening with their goods, a messaging layer that is centralized, automated and easy to integrate is not a nice-to-have. It is infrastructure.

What stands out

ZYGO's CTO highlighted four things when asked about the benefits of the platform.

  • Centralized communication. One place to manage how ZYGO talks to its customers and users.
  • Automation potential. Less manual effort tied to communication as operations grow.
  • Ease of integration. A platform the engineering team can build on without friction.
  • Scale without complexity. The ability to grow operations without a proportional increase in process complexity.

"I would highlight the centralization of communication, the potential for automation, ease of integration, and the ability to scale our operations without a proportional increase in process complexity." — Raimundo Tony — CTO, ZYGO

The impact: built for growth

ZYGO is early in its journey with Ziett, and its CTO frames the impact as what the platform enables as the company grows.

"The biggest impact will be the ability to make our communication more efficient, reliable and scalable. As ZYGO grows, it is essential to have tools that let us automate processes, improve the user experience and reduce the operational effort tied to communication." — Raimundo Tony — CTO, ZYGO

According to ZYGO's own published figures, the company confirms 98% of its deliveries and averages around 25 minutes per delivery in Luanda. Operating at that pace is exactly why communication has to be automatic: no team can keep customers informed manually at that speed and volume.

Honest feedback from the first weeks

We asked ZYGO where Ziett can improve. The answer is a useful roadmap of what a growing engineering team expects from a messaging partner:

  • Clear, detailed technical documentation
  • Practical integration examples
  • Tools to monitor and analyze messages
  • A configuration experience that keeps getting simpler and more intuitive
  • Agile technical support

The low-credit alert

ZYGO's CTO also mentioned something they missed: a notification when credits are running low.

That alert already exists in Ziett, and has for some time. ZYGO simply had not come across it. Once we heard this, we walked the team through it and helped them configure it.

We are glad we asked. When a feature exists but a customer cannot find it, that is feedback about discoverability, and it is just as valuable as a feature request. It is also a reminder of why we run these conversations.

Looking ahead

ZYGO describes Ziett as a technology partner with the potential to add value as its usage deepens.

"We see Ziett as a technology partner with the potential to add value to ZYGO, and we believe that as we deepen our use of it, we will be able to explore even more of its capabilities." — Raimundo Tony — CTO, ZYGO

A foundation for notifications and transactional messages is in place. As ZYGO's operation grows, so does the room to use more of the platform, and the feedback they shared is already shaping how we think about documentation, visibility and onboarding.

The people behind ZYGO

ZYGO was founded in September 2025 by Diandra Vaal Neto Simões, who is its CEO and one of Angola's most recognized young business leaders. She is also Chair of the Board (PCA) of Grupo Chana, the family-founded automotive and mobility group, where she previously held executive and strategic planning roles. She was named in the Industry category of the first Forbes África Lusófona 30 Under 30 list, which also credits her with creating Angola's first platform dedicated to women's entrepreneurship.

The interview was conducted with Raimundo Tony, ZYGO's CTO, who leads the technology behind the platform and is the team's voice on how it integrates with Ziett.
